How does a licensee handle the sale of a consignment firearm?

Firearms received for sale on consignment will be entered in the C4SEM acquisition and disposition record. The sale of a consignment firearm is handled in the same manner as other firearm sales.

Standard Pistol:                      15%                                    10%

Standard Rifle or Shotgun:    20%                                   15%

NFA Items:                              25%                                   20%

Return of any consigned firearms by C4SEM to the consignor must be entered in the disposition record. An ATF Form 4473 and a NICS check must be completed before the return of such firearms and the applicable transfer fee will be applied.
